Annual Golf Charity Day 2026
The Annual Rotary Golf Day took place on Friday 4th September 2026 at Gerrards Cross Golf Club.
The event has been run since 2003 by the Rotary Club of Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Peter, joined since 2013 by the Rotary Club of Missbourne Matins. Gerrards Cross Golf Club kindly donated the golf club for use free of charge for the afternoon.
We were blessed by a warm and largely dry afternoon and a course in superb condition with immaculate green fairways and fast-running true greens, a taste of paradise for every golf lover. We are very grateful to course manager Adam McColl and his team for their hard work.
The main competition was won by Alex Cornock and his team of Sue Hughes, Ron Fairhead and Annette Perkins.
After the golf, an excellent dinner was served in the clubhouse by the most cheerful and efficient staff led by Martin Hillary.
Following the dinner, an auction was conducted by Dusty Miller, which raised a total of just under £4,000. This contributed handsomely to the total sum raised for charity – about £12,000.
